A short chapbook can be folded and stapled; a longer collection can have a paperback or hardcover binding. Choose a page wide enough for your longest lines, or match the size of your finished PDF.
Black & white is the lowest-cost interior for poems and line drawings. Choose color if the collection includes color artwork. One interior option applies to the whole book. Count title pages and intentional blanks in your page total.

3. Review and approve
Check your cover and pages in a digital preview, normally ready in 2–3 business days.
4. We print and ship
After your approval, printing takes 5–7 business days. Tracking follows by email.

Poetry and chapbook printing questions
Can you help with the layout or cover?
Yes. Interior formatting is $10 plus $0.04 per page, and cover design is $20. Each is charged once per order. Preparing an existing layout for our printer is included; edits to the content or layout are paid work. Tell us what you need before ordering so we can confirm the service.
Will my line breaks and stanza spacing stay in place?
A PDF exported at your chosen page size is the best way to preserve the layout. Check line breaks, indents, blank pages and stanza spacing before sending it, then review them again in your preview. If you want us to change the layout, ask about formatting.
Which binding fits my page count?
Saddle stitching is available for 4–24 pages, hardcover from 24 pages, and perfect-bound paperback from 32 pages. At 25–31 pages, hardcover is the available option. For paperback, you can add material or intentional blank pages to reach 32; include those pages in your quote.
Can the collection’s title go on the spine?
Usually at around 100 pages or more, when a bound book’s spine is wide enough. A stapled chapbook has a folded edge rather than a flat spine. Ask us to check your page count and binding before designing spine text.
Can I include illustrations or photographs?
Yes. Black & white suits grayscale photographs and line drawings. Standard color or premium color is available for color artwork, with the same interior option throughout the book. Keep important details away from the binding edge or center fold.
Do I need an ISBN for a poetry collection?
No. You can print personal copies or a set for a reading without an ISBN. Printing with us does not publish or list the collection for sale. If you plan to use a retailer or distributor, check its requirements separately.
Can I get it in time for a gift or event?
Most orders arrive in 2–3 weeks, or about 1.5–2 weeks with express. Express costs $45 for the first copy plus $10 for each additional copy. Email us your date before ordering. Preparing files, revisions and waiting for approval can extend either estimate.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Contact us before you approve printing for a full refund.
