One person, 240+ books, every one printed with care.
Why TaleGazers exists, who's behind it, and what we believe about printing your story.
Our story
Most book printing services were built for publishers. They assumed bulk orders, professional designers, and customers who already knew the jargon. If you wanted to print one cookbook for your grandmother, you were out of luck — or you'd pay an arm and a leg for the privilege.
TaleGazers started because that gap was frustrating. There are people with beautiful stories — recipe collections, family histories, dissertations, photo albums — who just want one or two copies of a real, properly-made book. Not a stapled photocopy. Not a print-on-demand cardboard imitation. A book that feels like a book.
So we partnered with the same commercial printers that produce bookstore titles, and built a process that makes them accessible to one-off orders. You email files. We format. You preview and approve. We print. Anywhere from 1 to 1,000 copies — same quality every time.
There's no minimum, no upcharge for revisions, no surprise fees. The price you see is the price you pay. Daniel reads every order email personally.
What we believe
- · Every book deserves a real preview before printing
- · Revisions should never cost extra
- · One copy is a valid order
- · You should talk to a human, not a chatbot
- · Pricing should be transparent, before payment
Daniel
“I started TaleGazers because my mother wanted to print one cookbook for my aunt's birthday and couldn't find anyone who'd do it well. Now we print everything from family recipes to scientific dissertations to children's books. Every single order goes through me.”
