Stories that outlast us.
“Made a memoir for my mother's 80th — printed 15 copies for relatives. The hardcover binding makes it feel important. Because it is.”
“Photo inserts came out beautifully. Daniel reformatted my Word doc into something that actually reads like a published memoir.”
Memoir-specific questions.
Can I include photos throughout, or only as plates?+
Both. Inline B&W photos work in body pages; colour photos are usually grouped into glossy plate sections of 8 or 16 pages for cost efficiency.
How do I structure a memoir if it's currently just notes?+
Send us what you have — letters, journals, transcribed interviews, photos with captions. We'll suggest a structure (chronological, thematic, alternating voices) and reformat it into book form. You approve every chapter before we print.
Can you handle handwritten material?+
Yes. We can scan and include scans as image plates, or transcribe selected sections (quoted as additional service). Tell us what you have when you write in.
What about copyright and family permissions?+
Memoirs about real people raise concerns we can't advise on legally. We recommend getting written consent from anyone significantly featured before printing widely.
